Buffie The Body Gets Book Deal
If bonafide writers weren’t discouraged enough by the flood of sensational books on the market, word is going around that video model turned hood socialite, Buffie The Body has scored a deal with one of the large publishing houses. No word on which publisher will putting the book out but we will find out soon enough. In a May 2008 interview with allhiphop.com, Buffie told the writer, “I want to write a book for the industry. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a problem with Karrine Steffans at all – what she did was her business and I’ve never had a problem with her. But I want to contradict what she’s saying…”
We can only hope that Buffie will hold true to that and not pen yet another list of video model exploits. Will she give readers something to actually think about? Not to sound pessimistic but don’t get your hopes up.
